I have been taking commissions as a freelance artist since 2017. As a freelancer, I needed to market myself, engage with communities, and balance commission work with school, practice and personal work. I have firsthand experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Medibang Paint Pro/FireAlpaca, and Clip Studio Paint Pro, and have developed skills in visual design, composition, and content analysis. Through commissions, I learned to adjust prices in response to demand, respond to feedback, and provide frequent progress updates. When collaborating with other artists, I can intentionally adjust my style. Pieces I have created for my clients include character illustrations, album covers, backgrounds, and concept art.
